DB Doo Kyung-min injured again, will he be back for Wonju opener?

DB shooter Doo Kyung-min suffered another injury setback. He will focus on recovering his physical condition by the Wonju home opener.

DB head coach Kim Joo-sung said before the first game of the 2023-2024 season against Sono at the Goyang Sono Arena on the 22nd, “Doo Kyung-min did not come with a knee contusion. He is recovering in Wonju.”

Doo played only 25 games last season due to a knee injury. Despite playing just 24 minutes and 8 seconds per game, he managed 14.6 points and 2.5 three-pointers per game (37.1% success rate). He has explosiveness, but durability was an issue.짱구카지노

After focusing on off-season rehabilitation, Doo played in the KBL Cup in Gunsan earlier this month. He took the court to check his physical condition. He played 18 minutes and 37 seconds, scoring two points and dishing out two assists. “I was going to have him play for about 10 minutes, but he said he was fine, so I played a little longer,” Kim said at the time.

After a promising start to the season, Doo Kyung-min suffered another injury setback. “He bumped his knee in training, so I’m not going to push him too hard. As of now, I’m trying to get him ready for the opening game at home (Wonju).” DB will play its first home game against Busan KCC on May 28.

DB has built a solid roster with the addition of Dedrick Lawson and the acquisitions of Kim Young-hyun and Min-seom-soo in the free agency (FA) market. Add to that the explosive shooter Doo Kyung-min and you’ve got a lot of firepower if he’s on form. With a deep roster, DB plans to wait for Doo to fully recover.
