The SSG Landers, who are gearing up for the semi-playoffs (PO) against the NC Dinos, will be hosting a victory cheer event with celebrities.
SSG will host NC in the first round of the 2023 KBO Postseason Semi-Po (best-of-five) at SSG Landers Field in Incheon at 2 p.m. on April 22. Game 2 will be held at the same venue at 6:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
SSG, which won the wire-to-wire championship last year, finished third this season and advanced directly to the semifinals. With a 10-2 record this month, they will be looking to ride their momentum into the PO stage, where KT Wizards will be waiting.
To wish them good luck in the Semi-Pros, SSG invited two of the team’s former players who cast the winning pitches during the season.
First up, APINK’s Nam-joo will throw out the ceremonial first pitch in Game 1. Namju threw out the ceremonial first pitch at SSG’s home game against the Kiwoom Heroes on April 22, which SSG won 3-2.
“I fell in love with baseball and the Rangers after visiting Llanders Field this spring, and I’m honored to be able to throw out the ceremonial first pitch once again for the first game of the Semi-Po. I hope that the spirit of the victory fairy will continue this time.”토스카지노
In the second round, comedian Kim Won-hoon, who runs the “Shortbox” channel on YouTube with 2.72 million subscribers, will take part in the game.
On April 1, Kim threw out the ceremonial first pitch at the game between SSG and the KIA Tigers at Landers Field, which SSG won 4-1.
Kim, who is from Incheon, said, “As a son of Incheon and a big SSG fan, I’m grateful to be able to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at such an important game. I want to deliver the energy of the opening game victory.”
Meanwhile, SSG will be giving away hand scarves to the first 2,000 fans who wish for victory in the Semi-Po home game.
