Cristiano Ronaldo, 38, wears traditional Saudi Arabian clothing and holds a sword.
Al Nasr released a promotional video for the club on its official social media accounts on Wednesday, with the caption, “We are all for one flag, we dream and we fulfill”.
The video features Ronaldo and Al Nasr players. Ronaldo is dressed in traditional Saudi garb and looks imposing as he glares at the camera. He wears a gutra on his head, a bisht and a tob, a traditional Arab garment, and holds a sword. Ronaldo then waves the knife and smiles.
Ronaldo’s teammates Sadio Mane, Marcelo Brozovic, Alex Telles, and Talisca are also dressed in traditional Saudi garb and holding swords.
Ronaldo left Manchester United for the Saudi league last winter. Ronaldo’s move to Saudi Arabia has been followed by a number of players from Europe. Liverpool mainstay and ‘African hero’ Mane joined Al Nassar and became Ronaldo’s teammate. Marcelo Brozovic, who played for the Croatia national team and Inter Milan, and Teles, who played for Man United and Sevilla, also donned the Al Nasr shirt.
Ronaldo’s exploits in Saudi Arabia sparked a flurry of superstars. Neymar left Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) for Al-Hilal for an astronomical transfer fee and salary. Kalidou Koulibaly and Robben Neves also left the English Premier League (EPL) for Al Hilal. World-class striker Karim Benzema and top defensive midfielder N’Golo Kante also left Europe for Al Ittihad this summer.바카라
At 38 years old, Ronaldo is on fire in Saudi Arabia, even as he looks to be on the verge of retirement. He is currently the league’s top scorer with seven goals, including a goal in each of his last four league games.
Ronaldo is also looking to conquer Asia. Ronaldo made his ACL debut against Persepolis in the first leg of their Asian Champions League (ACL) Group E match on March 20. Despite being heavily guarded by his opponents, he played the full 90 minutes before being substituted in second-half stoppage time, helping his team to a 2-0 victory.
